Epidoteion of the Sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus

Sanctuary of the Bountiful Gods

The Epidoteion was a small fourth-century BC sanctuary dedicated to deities believed to bestow blessings. It was later incorporated into the southern part of the Roman baths, east of the Northern Stoa. The archaeological site plan distinguishes this earlier shrine from the later bathing complex.
