The Ancient Road of Lygourio is Paths of Culture trail 3. The 5.6 km walk starts at the square by the Church of St John the Merciful and passes the chapel of St George before following the Agios Andreas streambed and a surviving section of the ancient road. Branch 3A leads from the stream towards the sanctuary of Asclepius. The streambed is strewn with large stones and should be avoided when water is flowing.
